Refund Policy – Golfballtap
At Golfballtap, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase of golf equipment and accessories. By making a purchase on the Site, you agree to comply with this Refund Policy, as well as our Terms of Purchase and Privacy Policy.
1. Eligibility for Refunds
To qualify for a refund, your return must meet all of the following criteria:
- Return Window: The request for a refund must be initiated within 60 calendar days from the date you receive your order. Requests made after this period will not be accepted, unless the product is defective or damaged upon receipt (see Section 1.2).
- Product Condition: The product must be in its original, unused, and undamaged condition with all original tags, packaging, manuals, and accessories intact. Products that show signs of wear, use, customization, or damage caused by improper handling will not be eligible for a refund.
- Defective or Damaged Products: If you receive a product that is defective, damaged, or not as described (e.g., wrong model, incorrect size), you must notify us within 7 calendar days of delivery. We may require photos or other evidence of the issue to verify your claim. Such products are eligible for a full refund, replacement, or exchange at your discretion.
- Non-Returnable Items: The following items are not eligible for refunds under any circumstances, unless defective or damaged upon receipt:
- Customized or personalized products (e.g., engraved golf clubs, monogrammed golf bags).
- Gift cards or e-certificates.
- Hygiene-sensitive items (e.g., golf gloves that have been removed from their sealed packaging).
2. How to Request a Refund
- Receive Return Authorization (RA): Our customer service team will review your request within 1-2 business days. If approved, we will send you an RA number and detailed return instructions, including the designated return shipping address. Do not ship any products without first obtaining an RA number—unauthorized returns will be rejected and returned to you at your expense.
- Ship the Product: Package the product securely (preferably in its original packaging) and clearly mark the RA number on the outside of the package. Ship the product using a trackable shipping method (e.g., UPS, FedEx, DHL) to ensure we can monitor delivery. You are responsible for the cost of return shipping, unless the refund is due to a defective, damaged, or incorrect product (in which case we will reimburse your return shipping costs upon receipt of the shipping receipt).
3. Refund Processing
3.1 Inspection of Returned Products
Once we receive your returned product at our warehouse, our team will inspect it to verify that it meets the eligibility criteria outlined in Section 1. This inspection typically takes 3-5 business days from the date we receive the package.
3.2 Refund Approval or Denial
- Approved Refunds: If your return is approved, we will process the refund to your original payment method within 5-10 business days of approval. The time it takes for the refund to appear in your account depends on your payment provider’s processing times (e.g., credit card refunds may take 3-7 business days, while PayPal refunds may appear within 24-48 hours).
- Denied Refunds: If your return is denied (e.g., product is used, missing packaging, or outside the return window), we will notify you via email and provide the reason for denial. You may choose to have the product returned to you at your expense, or we may dispose of it (with your consent) if return shipping is not feasible.
3.3 Refund Amount
- Full Refunds: Eligible returns will receive a full refund of the product’s purchase price (excluding any applicable taxes, unless required by law).
- Partial Refunds: In rare cases (e.g., product is returned with minor missing accessories but is otherwise unused), we may issue a partial refund at our discretion. The amount of the partial refund will be communicated to you before processing.
- Shipping Costs: Original shipping costs are non-refundable, as we offer free global standard shipping on all orders. However, if you are returning a defective, damaged, or incorrect product, we will reimburse your return shipping costs up to a maximum of $25 USD (upon receipt of your shipping receipt).
4. Special Circumstances
4.1 Cancelled Orders

Cancelled orders will be refunded in full to your original payment method within 5-10 business days. Once an order has been dispatched, you must follow the return process outlined in Section 2 to request a refund.
4.2 Incorrect or Missing Products
If your order is missing a product or contains the wrong item, contact us within 7 business days of delivery. We will either ship the correct product to you at no cost or issue a full refund for the missing/incorrect item, at your choice.
4.3 Price Adjustments
We do not offer price adjustments for products that go on sale after your purchase. However, if you receive a damaged or defective product and a replacement is no longer available at the original price, we will honor the original purchase price for a refund or alternative product.
